This past weekend, all of the girls in Holly's bridal party met in Austin so that we could go shopping for bridesmaids' dresses.

Holly knew that she wanted the dresses to be navy, but other than that, her plan was to just have all of us try on a bunch of dresses to see what we liked and what looked the best on us. Our first stop was David's Bridal, and after a quick trip to Mighty Fine for burgers, fries, and shakes {apparently none of us are on our wedding diet quite yet}, we also went to Alfred Angelo. After trying on quite a few dresses, we ended up deciding to go with the very first one that we had tried on back at David's Bridal. It looked great on all of us, and Holly loved it, too. It doesn't get any better than that!
Later that evening, Ben and I decided to go up to the hospital to see Amanda and Scott. Amanda is almost 32 weeks pregnant with triplets and has been in the hospital on bed rest for the past 3 weeks. Needless to say, hanging out in a hospital bed is not the most exciting thing in the world, so she loves visitors. Ben and I picked up fajitas and some tortilla soup on our way up there, and we had a great time eating and hanging out.
I still have a hard time believing that Scott and Amanda are about to be parents to 3 precious babies, but hopefully that's not for another couple of weeks or so. The longer those babies stay the oven, the better, so please keep all of them in your prayers.
On that note, please also keep G in your prayers as she ended up going into the hospital at the end of last week. Her heart was beating irregularly, and she was out of breath and was retaining fluid. Thankfully, the doctors were able to get everything straightened out in just a couple of days, and she is home now, but please keep her in your prayers for a complete recovery.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I don't know about you, but I'm already ready for the next one. And yes, I do realize that it's only Monday. ;)
