I went shopping today with some of the garage sale money that I made this weekend {I made over $275 total!} and bought some pillows for our living room. I've been wanting to get some pillows for awhile now to break up all of the brown leather but have had a hard time finding something that I like.
I went to TJMaxx and Marshalls today and found pillows at both places. I wasn't sure which ones I liked the best, so I decided to buy all of them and have a pillow fashion show once I got home.
Here are all 8 pillows on the couch. Obviously, this wasn't an arrangement that I was considering.

If you enlarge the picture, you might be able to see that 2 of the green pillows in the back are crocheted while the other 5 are just plain cotton.
I read somewhere that an asymmetrical arrangement makes thing feel more cozy and less formal, which is definitely what I'm going for, so I put one crocheted pillow on the couch, the other on the chair, and moved the rest of them around to see what looked the best.

While playing around with the pillows, I was really wishing Cheryl was at home so that I could get a second opinion, but unfortunately, she had already left for work. I asked Ben for his opinion a couple of times, but he wasn't really much help. He said that he liked all of them and that pillow arranging isn't really his thing. Shocking...
The arrangement that I ended up liking the best {I think} is this one.

So what do you think??? I'll probably leave the tags on for at least another few days to make sure it's what I like, and hopefully Cheryl will stop by sometime when she's not working to give me a second opinion....hint, hint. After all, I'm kinda thinking she owes me after I spent 2 hours in Babies R Us helping her register today. :)

I knew I would have to repay you somehow...I just didn't think it would be something so easy :) From the pictures, I definitely like the one you like, but I wanna come by and look in person :) I really like the crocheted ones.
